It includes contributions from a handful of our favorite vocalists, including Turf Talk, M.Sayyid (Antipop Consortium), Myka Nyne, and Zackey Force Funk. I’ve heard great things about the Crosby for quite some time - both the club and the food have a rep. SHLOHMO brings the fire and I just learnt myself about the music of CO.FEE from My Hollow Drum… also a fire-bringer !
Come thru cus it’s FREE. and cus its gonna be dope ! Big respect to Teebs for putting me on.
Literally fire/smoking/hot/melty video that our man Paul Trillo (of The NoProblem) made for Low Limit’s “Trapperkeeper,” which appeared on the LL x LK Golden Handshake EP earlier this year via NUMBERS label.
The record, which released in March, is available as digital and vinyl at fine online retailers such as Rubadub, Boomkat, Bleep, iTunes, etc…
We encourage you to discover an array of excellent video work and top notch bloggery by Trillo, alongside No Problem counterpart Noah Cunningham, at their stomping grounds thenoproblem.com.
Respect to the homie Nalden for asking me to submit 10 current favorite jams for a lil feature on his site! Nalden, who’s been ever-supportive of us in the past (Remember THIS mix?), is kickin it in SF for the week being a boss among other things, so if you happen to be at the right place at the right time you might even cross paths. Kinda like Where’s Waldo, but with the Dutch ambassador of all things cool!
We know folks are already hyped about LA duo NGUZUNGUZU making the trip up the coast this Saturday to headline Icee Hot, but now we’re worried there might be a riot at the door after people hear this mix. We expected the Nguzus to put something special together, but FUUUUUUUUUCK this is good… AND it’s loaded with exclusive tunes. Want to hear the new beats they’ve been cooking up along with some tropical outer-space kuduro, funana, and who knows what else? Then do yourself a favor and listen to this mix as soon as you can. And then get yourself down to 222 Hyde this Saturday and check out their DJ stylings in person.

Big mix from our big homie in London, H.U.D. (aka Hang-Up DJ), which he recently put together for the Stag and Dagger mix competition (info HERE). Chock full of fresh hands-on blends, this is prime house music with a London twist… Preview the mix above, and chances are you want to take the next step and download HERE … lil somethin’ to get you extra pumped for the ’secret’ warehouse party in East London on Thursday May 20, brought to you by Icee Hot and Bodymusik.
The warehouse jammy will feature appearances from H.U.D. himself, joined by Night Slugs royalty Bok Bok and Jam City, and DJ sets from the individual Lazer Sword badboys Low Limit and Lando Kal.
Here is the thing, as with all great warehouse parties, you need to RSVP for the location & info. Email secret.warehouse.party@gmail.com for all that jazz!
